Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko said that Ukraine plans to sign an agreement with the United States on the sale of drones.<\/strong><\/p>\n

She stated<\/a> this while talking to reporters, Reuters reports.<\/p>\n

Speaking to reporters along with several other ministers, the Prime Minister noted that the agreement will allow the US to purchase Ukrainian drones.<\/p>\n

“We plan to sign a ‘drone agreement’ with the United States. We are discussing investments in expanding the production of Ukrainian drones in the US. That is, we are talking about purchasing a large batch of Ukrainian drones,” she said.<\/p>\n

Svyridenko also added that the political decision on the agreement was made by President Zelensky and his counterpart Donald Trump during a telephone conversation.<\/p>\n

It was previously reported that Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelenskyy discussed a “mega deal” under which the United States would purchase Ukrainian drones in exchange for the opportunity for Ukraine to purchase American weapons<\/a> .<\/p>\n

Recall, US President Donald Trump announced that the first batches of Patriot anti-aircraft systems have already been sent to partner countries, which will later transfer them to Ukraine.<\/a><\/p>\n
