Ukraine was able to return another 11 children aged 10 to 17 from the temporarily occupied territories and Russia.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> the head of the Presidential Office, Andriy Yermak.<\/p>\n

“As part of the initiative of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Bring Kids Back UA managed to return 11 Ukrainian children from the temporarily occupied territories and the Russian Federation. Their ages range from 10 to 17 years old,” Yermak said.<\/p>\n

According to him, he was particularly struck by the story of a family “from which we returned five siblings. The children were taken to Russia, and for a long time there was no information about them. Only with time did they themselves contact their adult sister in Ukraine and ask: take us home.”<\/p>\n

He said that even after that, the way back was very difficult. Russian guardianship authorities exerted pressure and delayed the process. The return became possible only after more than a year of persistent and painstaking work.<\/p>\n

“This story is another reminder: Ukraine does not stop while its children are away from home,” said the head of the OP and expressed gratitude to the State of Qatar for mediation.<\/p>\n
