Even underage girls from the Alabuga Polytechnic school, some as young as 16, are being involved in assembling these drones.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> This is reported by Russian media.<\/p>\n<p> It is noted that in Tatarstan, Russia has launched full-scale production of kamikaze drones &#8220;Geran-2&#8221; &#8211; copies of the Iranian Shahed-136, which the Kremlin is actively using to attack the civilian infrastructure of Ukraine. The plant is located in the special economic zone &#8220;Alabuga&#8221;, where the special training center &#8220;Alabuga Polytech&#8221; also operates. The duration of training is up to four years, and all program participants are provided with free accommodation and meals on the territory of the production zone. This system allows the Kremlin to quickly and massively train personnel for drone warfare.<\/p>\n<p> Photos from inside the factory show dozens of drones assembled in the workshops. Its loud sound in the sky is often compared to a moped or a chainsaw. The UAV flies at speeds of up to 200 km\/h and is capable of flying up to 1,800 km, carrying a warhead weighing 50 kg, diving to a target at an altitude of up to 4 km. Navigation is carried out using the CRPA system, which partially protects it from electronic warfare.<\/p>\n<p> Although the exact cost of each drone is not disclosed, similar models can cost up to $4 million.
