The current MP from the banned OPZH turned out to be a senior agent of the Russian FSB who influenced the NABU. He was informed of suspicion of high treason.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported<\/a> by the Prosecutor General’s Office.<\/p>\n

“The Prosecutor General’s Office, together with the Security Service of Ukraine, exposed the current people’s deputy from the banned OPZZH party, Fedor Khrystenko, in high treason. He turned out to be a senior agent of the Russian FSB, working to strengthen Russian influence on the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine,” the UCP said in a statement.<\/p>\n

It is noted that Fedir Khristenko fled abroad in 2022, from where he continued his illegal activities. It has been established that the Russian FSB recruited him during the Yanukovych regime.<\/p>\n

“During the investigation, evidence was obtained of his close contacts with Yuri Ivanyushchenko, a resident of the Russian special services in the territory of the so-called “DPR” and a collaborator, now deceased, Armen Sarkissian,” the Prosecutor’s Office noted.<\/p>\n

According to the investigation, the suspect Fedir Khrystenko also established close relationships with individual NABU leaders.<\/p>\n

Among them is the head of the NABU Interregional Detective Department, Ruslan Magamedrasulov.<\/p>\n

Another official with whom the MP had contact was the head of the NABU detective unit, Oleksandr Skomarov. Oleksandr Skomarov’s subordinates, NABU detectives, on behalf of Khrystenko, helped Bogolyubov cross the border.<\/p>\n

“Another Ukrainian oligarch, Ihor Kolomoisky, also planned to resolve his criminal cases with the help of Oleksandr Skomarov, in case he won the competition for the head of the Bureau of Economic Security, in which he participated,” the UCP added.<\/p>\n

Prosecutors of the Prosecutor General’s Office informed People’s Deputy Khrystenko of suspicion of high treason committed by prior conspiracy by a group of persons under martial law under Part 2 of Article 28 Part 1, Part 2 of Article 111 and abuse of influence under Part 2 of Article 369-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.<\/p>\n
