On the night of Tuesday, July 22, Odesa was subjected to an air attack by Russia. Hostile drone strikes in the city resulted in fires, damage to infrastructure, and at least one injured person.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> the State Emergency Service.<\/p>\n

According to rescuers, the impact caused a fire in the parking lot, where several cars caught fire. Windows were broken in a neighboring high-rise building, and one of the stores was also damaged. Rescuers and psychologists from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine quickly arrived at the scene and provided assistance to residents.<\/p>\n

One person was injured. 62 employees of the State Emergency Service and 17 units of equipment were involved in the liquidation of the consequences. <\/p>\n

The attack began at around 01:40, when the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported the activity of enemy drones over the Black Sea. The drones were moving in the direction of Mykolaiv and Odessa regions. At 02:08, it became known that they were approaching Odessa, after which the air defense system began to operate.<\/p>\n

Mayor Gennady Trukhanov confirmed that the city was attacked and specified that some of the drones were flying directly in the direction of the regional center.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, on the night of July 21 , the Russians launched a massive drone and missile strike on Kyiv<\/a> . As a result of the shelling of the capital, fires broke out in several districts.<\/p>\n
