Its dimensions are impressive: according to NASA, the object is over 320 meters long \u2014 almost the size of three football fields.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> This <a href=\"https:\/\/eyes.nasa.gov\/apps\/asteroids\/#\/watch\/2025_ox\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">was reported by<\/a> NASA&#8217;s Jet Propulsion Laboratory.<\/p>\n<p> The threat is not imaginary: although the celestial body will pass by our planet at a distance of about 3 million kilometers, it is on the list of potentially dangerous. And for good reason &#8211; any asteroid of this size that approaches closer than 7.5 million km causes concern among scientists.<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;Object 1997 QK1 meets both critical criteria: both massive and fairly close.
