Russia intends to spend about $1.1 trillion on military rearmament by 2036.<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

This was stated by the Chief of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov, during a panel discussion at a meeting of ambassadors.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

According to Budanov, a total mobilization of politics, economics and society is taking place in Russia to prepare for a possible large-scale war; two new military districts have been created and the formation of new divisions and units is planned.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

In addition, Russia is actively expanding its influence in Africa through proxy forces, supporting authoritarian regimes, terrorist organizations, and conducting hybrid information and cyber attacks abroad.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

“Moscow wants to impose its own vision on the world, where “great” states, in particular the Russian Federation, have a monopoly on resources and make key decisions,” Budanov noted.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

He also thanked Ukrainian diplomats for their assistance in international support for Ukraine and cooperation with the GUR.<\/p>\n
