Rosie Roche, 20, a cousin of Princes William and Harry and granddaughter of Princess Diana’s uncle, died on July 14 at her home in Norton, near Malmesbury, Wiltshire.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Her body was discovered by her mother and sister while Rosie was packing for a trip with friends. A firearm was found next to her.<\/p>\n

An inquest at Wiltshire and Swindon Coroner’s Court was adjourned until October 25. Coroner Grant Davis said police had ruled the death unsuspicious and there was no evidence of third party involvement.<\/p>\n

Rossi was a first-year English Literature student at Durham University. The university expressed its deepest sympathies, noting that Rosie was creative, energetic, had a love of books, poetry and travel, made friends quickly and was a warm and talented person.<\/p>\n

“She will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and condolences are with Rosie’s family and friends, and we offer our support to all those affected at this very difficult time,” said Principal of University College Durham Professor Wendy Powers.<\/p>\n

In a death announcement, Rosie’s family said: “Lovely daughter of Hugh and Pippi, incredible sister of Archie and Agatha, granddaughter of Derek and Rae Lon.”<\/p>\n
