As of 16:00 on July 22, 75 combat clashes have been recorded on the Russian-Ukrainian front. Another 6 battles are ongoing<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported<\/a> by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The situation remains most tense in the Pokrovsk direction, where Russian troops have attempted to break through the Ukrainian defenders’ defenses 40 times. The defense forces have repelled 34 attacks, and six more battles are ongoing.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

In the Severo-Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled five enemy attacks, and another combat clash is ongoing. The occupiers carried out seven airstrikes and 148 shellings, including one from MLRS.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

In the South Slobozhansky direction, a battle is taking place near the West.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

In the Kupyansk direction, Russian troops twice attempted to advance near Golubovka and Stepnaya Novoselovka, the attacks were repelled, and another clash continues.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

In the Liman direction, nine attacks have been repelled at Grekovka, Kolodtsy, Zelenaya Dolina, Mirny and Yampolevka. Three battles are still ongoing.<\/p>\n

In the Toretsk direction, the occupiers attacked the positions of Ukrainian troops seven times in the areas of Dilievka, Toretsky, Aleksandro-Kalinovy and Rusiny Yar.<\/p>\n

In the Novopavlovsk direction, two attacks were recorded near Voskresenko.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

In the Dnieper direction, the enemy made five breakthrough attempts, but all of them were unsuccessful.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

At the same time, Russian troops are shelling the border areas of the Chernihiv and Sumy regions, using artillery and aviation. The settlements of Klyusy in the Chernihiv region, Bratenitsa, Progress, Miropolskoye, Ukrainskoye, Popovka in the Sumy region came under fire. Yastrubino and Grafskoye suffered air strikes.<\/p>\n

The General Staff emphasized that Ukrainian defenders continue to contain the offensive actions of Russian troops, inflict damage on them and hold positions along the entire front line.<\/p>\n
