The Cabinet of Ministers has announced the launch of a grant competition to launch a full-cycle explosives production facility within the country. The initiative is being implemented through the Brave1 platform.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was announced by<\/a> First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Yulia Svyrydenko.<\/p>\n

“This is a step towards scaling up the production of explosives in Ukraine,” she stressed. According to Svyrydenko, everything \u2014 from equipment to chemical components \u2014 must be manufactured on the territory of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

The grant program includes technical expertise from the Security and Defense Forces, control tests, and an open competitive procedure. Details on the funding amounts and conditions of participation are promised to be announced in the near future – they are being prepared by the Ministry of Digital Affairs team.<\/p>\n

Svyrydenko emphasized that the new approach involves direct support for companies that can accelerate defense production and influence the course of the war.<\/p>\n

In total, over 560 projects in the field of defense technologies have already been supported through the Brave1 platform. The total amount of funding is over 2.2 billion hryvnias.<\/p>\n

Recall that in two years, Ukraine has radically rebuilt its defense industry – artillery production has tripled, and ammunition production has increased 2.5 times.<\/a><\/p>\n

As reported, Ukraine signed an agreement with the American company Swift Beat to jointly produce hundreds of thousands of drones, including interceptors.<\/a><\/p>\n

In addition, President Zelensky announced plans to expand the presence of German defense companies in Ukraine. This includes joint weapons production and the creation of military hubs, in particular in the field of interceptor drones.<\/a><\/p>\n

By the way, Ukroboronprom has agreed to cooperate with the Norwegian company Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace (KDA) in the field of strengthening the potential of Ukrainian air defense.<\/a><\/p>\n
