A meeting between Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Vladimir Putin is unlikely in the coming month.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was stated by the Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, Russian media reports.<\/p>\n

Peskov said that by the end of Trump’s ultimatum, which comes in 30 days, a meeting of the leaders is unlikely.<\/p>\n

“A meeting at the highest level can and should put a final stop to the settlement and fix the modalities of these agreements that are to be worked out during expert work. It is impossible to do the opposite. Is it possible to complete such a complex process in 30 days? Well, obviously, it is unlikely,” Putin’s spokesman said.<\/p>\n

Peskov once again emphasized that Russia set out its position in the draft memorandum, which was submitted during the second round of negotiations and in Istanbul.<\/p>\n

He also added that the position is “diametrically” opposite to that set out in the Ukrainian draft memorandum.<\/p>\n

“It is unlikely that they can be brought together in an instant. This will require very complex diplomatic work,” Peskov said.<\/p>\n

As we will recall, a landmark meeting between US President Donald Trump and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte took place at the White House. During the briefing, Trump announced the transfer of up to 17 Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems to Ukraine and a large amount of other military aid, which will be partially financed by European allies. The president also threatened Russia with 100% tariffs if a peace agreement on Ukraine is not reached within 50 days.<\/a><\/p>\n

As reported, Trump will soon announce an \u201caggressive\u201d plan to supply weapons to Ukraine<\/a> . The US may transfer the missiles it receives to Moscow.<\/p>\n
