On the night of July 24, Russian troops carried out a massive shelling of Kharkov and the Dnepropetrovsk region, resulting in deaths and injuries.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by the mayor of Kharkov Igor Terekhov<\/u><\/a> , the head of the OVA Oleg Sinegubov<\/u><\/a> and his colleague from Dnepropetrovsk region Sergei Lysak<\/u><\/a> .<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

In Dnipro<\/strong> and the region, air defense destroyed seven missiles and 26 kamikaze drones, but there were also hits. In the city itself, high-rise buildings, industrial enterprises, a shopping center, cars in a parking lot were damaged, and several large-scale fires were recorded. At least two people died – one person was in an apartment on the top floor of a high-rise building at the time of the strike.<\/p>\n

Another five people were injured, including a woman. The mayor of the city, Boris Filatov, noted the danger of being on the upper floors during an air raid alarm and called on residents to at least go down to the parking lots. The Pokrovskie and Marganets communities were also hit, where Russian troops used guided aerial bombs and FPV drones.<\/p>\n

Kharkov<\/strong> was hit more than twenty times in almost three hours. The enemy used four guided bombs, two ballistic missiles, and then fifteen more Shahed drones. Seven fires broke out in the Kievsky district, residential buildings, a civilian enterprise, roads, and transport overhead lines were damaged. Five people were injured, including three rescuers who arrived on call and were hit again.<\/p>\n

Zmiev also came under fire, where a missile and ten drones caused a fire and injured three people, including a 50-year-old man who is in hospital.<\/p>\n

In the morning, rescuers, police and municipal services continue to eliminate the consequences of the shelling. The authorities urge residents not to ignore the air raid alarm, because the threat of new attacks remains high.<\/p>\n
