The time of indulgence \u2014 granted by international partners and Ukrainian society \u2014 is running out. The excuse \u201cI have the right to make a mistake\u201d no longer holds. A return to the old ways won\u2019t suffice. What\u2019s needed now is the restoration of Ukraine\u2019s image \u2014 and the legitimacy of its leadership.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Decisive and compensatory steps are urgently needed to restore public trust.<\/p>\n

Among the most effective measures \u2014 and those that can be implemented within a relatively short timeframe \u2014 are:<\/p>\n

  1. \n

    Immediate appointment of the head of the Bureau of Economic Security (BEB).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  2. \n

    Dismissal of compromised high-ranking officials.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  3. \n

    Termination of public spending on ineffective projects under the United News marathon, which has exhausted its relevance.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  4. \n

    Changes in state information policy, particularly the repeal of unlawful decisions that obstruct the work of independent Ukrainian media.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  5. \n

    Abandonment of the unconstitutional practice of applying surrogate sanctions in place of legal procedures, especially against Ukrainian citizens residing in Ukraine.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  6. \n

    Restoration of direct and transparent communication between the government and society.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  7. \n

    Return of subjectivity to the Ukrainian Parliament, including the effective exercise of its oversight functions over the executive branch.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  8. \n

    Restructuring of the current coalition in line with the Constitution and laws of Ukraine, leading to the formation of a Government of Public Trust.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  9. \n

    Introduction of a rotation mechanism for civil servants, including law enforcement officers: one year of service near the Ukrainian-Russian border or at the front, followed by one year in safer regions or the capital.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\t\t
