{"id":1267891,"date":"2025-07-26T20:59:15","date_gmt":"2025-07-26T17:59:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/prm.ua\/zelenskyy-updated-the-rules-for-presenting-the-shevchenko-prize-what-you-need-to-know-about-the-innovation\/"},"modified":"2025-07-26T20:59:15","modified_gmt":"2025-07-26T17:59:15","slug":"zelenskyy-updated-the-rules-for-presenting-the-shevchenko-prize-what-you-need-to-know-about-the-innovation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/prm.ua\/en\/zelenskyy-updated-the-rules-for-presenting-the-shevchenko-prize-what-you-need-to-know-about-the-innovation\/","title":{"rendered":"Zelenskyy updated the rules for presenting the Shevchenko Prize: what you need to know about the innovation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>On Saturday, July 26, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy made changes to the rules for presenting the Taras Shevchenko National Prize of Ukraine.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.president.gov.ua\/documents\/5532025-55933\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">is stated<\/span><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">in Decree No. 553\/2025.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thus, Zelenskyy increased the number of nominations to 13:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul><\/p>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">prose;<\/span><\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">poetry;<\/span><\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">literary and art studies;<\/span><\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">journalism and public relations;<\/span><\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">musical art;<\/span><\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">concert and performing arts;<\/span><\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">theatrical art;<\/span><\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">cinematography;<\/span><\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">visual arts;<\/span><\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">photographic art;<\/span><\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">decorative and applied arts;<\/span><\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">design (according to the types determined by the Committee for the Taras Shevchenko National Prize of Ukraine);<\/span><\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">creative curation of cultural and artistic projects.<\/span><\/li>\n<p><\/ul>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As noted, the prize is awarded to creators of new works released within the last five years (however, no later than six months before their nomination for the prize).<\/span><\/p>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;And for the National Award in the nomination for creative curation of cultural and artistic projects, the direct author of a cultural and artistic project (work) that has been implemented as a meaningful and holistic cultural phenomenon within the last five years (but no later than six months before its nomination for the National Award) is nominated, provided that this project is the result of the author&#8217;s creative work,&#8221; the decree explains.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is also clarified that monographic scientific studies, textbooks, manuals, and catalog albums are not nominated for the Shevchenko Prize.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In addition, in Decree No. 552\/2025, the President<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.president.gov.ua\/documents\/5522025-55929\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ordered<\/span><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the Cabinet of Ministers to develop and approve a plan of events for the 65th anniversary of the establishment of the Taras Shevchenko National Prize of Ukraine.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In particular, it is planned to hold a ceremony to present the award; hold celebrations on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the award&#8217;s establishment; prepare and publish an encyclopedic guide &#8220;Shevchenko Laureates: 1962\u20132026&#8221; and an album of works by artists &#8211;
