Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that it is necessary to increase pressure on the Russian Federation to force it to stop the war.<\/strong><\/p>\n

He said<\/span><\/a> this<\/span> in an evening video address.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Now is exactly the moment when we need to put pressure on Russia – to put pressure so that there is no war next year,” Zelenskyy emphasized.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to him, the sanctions imposed on Russia should take away Russian potential.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition, the president emphasized that Russia’s economic losses are already tangible and added that they will be even more tangible.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a reminder, the European Union has begun developing a new, 19th package of sanctions<\/a> against the aggressor state. Brussels intends to continue to increase pressure on the Kremlin, not limiting itself to formal measures.<\/p>\n

As reported, the Donald Trump administration will impose secondary sanctions and tariffs against Russia<\/a> if a ceasefire is not achieved in Ukraine within 50 days.<\/p>\n
