According to ISW, advances have been recorded in particular:<\/p>\n<ul><\/p>\n<li> <strong>In the Torets direction<\/strong> , the occupiers advanced west of Poltavka and southeast of Rusyn Yar.<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> <strong>In the west of Zaporizhia region<\/strong> , geolocation footage indicates the enemy&#8217;s movement towards the southern part of Stepnohirsk, which threatens the regional center: in the event of further advancement by another 5 km, Zaporizhia may find itself in the zone of action of enemy artillery.<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> <strong>In the direction of Dachny (Dnipropetrovsk region)<\/strong> &#8211; the enemy recently approached the administrative border of the region.<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> <strong>In the Siversky direction<\/strong> , partial Russian advance has been confirmed.<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> <strong>Near Velyka Novoselka<\/strong> , the enemy is carrying out assaults, but without success.<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> <strong>In the north of Kharkiv and Sumy regions<\/strong> , attacks continue, but Ukrainian forces are holding back the aggressor without losing positions.<\/li>\n<p><\/ul>\n<p> At the same time, ISW notes that the enemy has not achieved confirmed results in the Lymanske, Borovske, and Pokrovske directions, and no activity has been recorded near Hulyaipol and in the Kherson region.<\/p>\n<p> The approaches to Stepnohirsk and the advance along the administrative border of Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions threaten to expand the combat zone. The likely <strong>approach of artillery to Zaporizhzhia<\/strong> poses a new danger to the civilian population and critical infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p> ISW emphasized that the situation remains tense, and further successes of the enemy \u2014 even local ones \u2014 could affect the strategic deployment of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.<\/p>\n<p> Earlier, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published operational information as of July 28, 2025. <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/zvedennia-henshtabu-syly-oborony-vidbyly-158-atak-armii-rf-na-11-napriamkakh-frontu\/\">In total, 158 clashes were recorded over the past 24 hours.<\/a><\/p>\n<p> By the way, Russian occupation troops are making attempts <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/okupanty-namahaiutsia-zayty-v-kup-iansk-iaka-sytuatsiia-poblyzu-mista\/\">to enter Kupyansk in the Kharkiv region from the northwest<\/a> .
