Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdo\u011fan is confident that the war between Russia and Ukraine will be resolved through a deal, one he hopes will be negotiated on Turkish soil.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In his statement, President Recep Tayyip Erdo\u011fan noted that Turkey has stepped up its diplomatic efforts for peace amid escalating crises and wars in neighboring regions.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn Russia\u2019s war against Ukraine, Ankara is pursuing a policy centered on peace,\u201d the Turkish leader said.<\/p>\n

He also recalled that during the third round of negotiations in Istanbul, Ukrainian and Russian delegations agreed to conduct another prisoner exchange.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe believe this war must end. Just as the negotiation table was set in Istanbul, the peace table will be set again in Turkey \u2014 and this bloody war will be brought to an end,\u201d Erdo\u011fan emphasized.<\/p>\n
