The Cabinet of Ministers has appointed Tetyana Berezhna as the acting head of the Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This<\/span> was announced<\/span><\/a> by Prime Minister Yulia Svirydenko.<\/span><\/p>\n

She emphasized that it is important to maintain manageability, financial capacity, and interaction with the cultural community, so the duties of the interim head of the department were entrusted to an “experienced manager with a strong background.”<\/span><\/p>\n

According to her, the main task is to ensure proper funding for Ukrainian culture in times of war.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cConducting a needs audit, intensifying dialogue with donors, finding additional resources are the areas in which Tetyana has already shown results at the Ministry of Economy. Berezhna has extensive experience in reforms, cultural diplomacy, and international cooperation,\u201d Svyrydenko explained.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition, the Prime Minister informed that the government wants to separate information policy and strategic communications into separate areas.<\/span><\/p>\n

“This will allow focused work on the country’s information stability. Cultural policy needs a new impetus,” she added.<\/span><\/p>\n
