Today, July 29, Russian occupiers struck the village of Novoplatonovka in the Izyum district of Kharkiv region, as a result of which five civilians were killed and three more were wounded.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> the Kharkiv region police.<\/p>\n

The occupiers reportedly struck at around 10:38, likely with a multiple launch rocket system.<\/p>\n

“According to preliminary data, five civilians were killed as a result of the shelling, and three more were injured to varying degrees of severity,” the police said.<\/p>\n

As a result of the enemy attack, the store caught fire. The area of the fire is being clarified.<\/p>\n

The police added that an investigative task force, explosive ordnance experts and forensic experts had arrived at the scene. Investigators opened a criminal case under Part 2 of Article 438 (war crimes) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

Let us recall that on July 29, Russian troops launched a missile attack on the city of Kamenskoye in the Dnipropetrovsk region<\/a> . As a result of the shelling, two people were killed and five more were injured. Among the victims was a pregnant woman.<\/p>\n
