The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine released<\/a> an evening update at 10:00 PM on July 29, 2025, detailing the current situation on the front lines amid ongoing Russian aggression.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Since the beginning of the day, 139 combat clashes have occurred. The enemy launched three missile strikes and 32 airstrikes on Ukrainian troop positions and settlements, used six missiles, dropped 59 guided aerial bombs, carried out 1,229 kamikaze drone attacks, and conducted 3,919 shellings.<\/p>\n

North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions:<\/strong> Ukrainian forces repelled 16 enemy assault attempts, with two additional clashes still ongoing. The enemy also carried out two airstrikes, dropped three guided bombs, and conducted 287 attacks, including eight using multiple launch rocket systems.<\/p>\n

South Slobozhansk direction:<\/strong> Ukrainian defenders repelled four attacks near Vovchansk and in the direction of Kolodyazne.<\/p>\n

Kupyansk direction:<\/strong> The enemy attempted twice to dislodge Ukrainian units from occupied positions near Pishchane and Golubivka.<\/p>\n

Lyman direction:<\/strong> The enemy launched 20 assaults, trying to advance near the settlements of Novyi Mir, Kolodyaz, Karpivka, Dibrova, Torske, and toward Seredny, Shandryholove, and Yampol.<\/p>\n

Siversk direction:<\/strong> Ukrainian troops repelled five attacks near Hryhorivka, Siversk, and Fedorivka. Two additional engagements are ongoing.<\/p>\n

Kramatorsk direction:<\/strong> Ukrainian forces repelled three enemy attempts to advance toward Bila Hora and the Novomarkove area.<\/p>\n

Toretsk direction:<\/strong> The enemy attempted to breach Ukrainian defenses six times near Toretsk.<\/p>\n

Pokrovsk direction:<\/strong> The aggressor launched 48 assault and offensive actions near the settlements of Popiv Yar, Volodymyrivka, Novoekonomichne, Mykolaivka, Rodynske, Lysivka, Pokrovsk, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novopidhorodne, Muravka, Myroliubivka, Horikhove, Dachne, Nykanorivka, and Novoukrainka. Fighting is currently ongoing at one location. Preliminary reports indicate that 96 Russian troops were neutralized in this direction, including 56 irrecoverable losses. Ukrainian forces also destroyed 14 enemy UAVs and two personnel shelters. Two enemy vehicles and two motorcycles were damaged.<\/p>\n

Novopavlivka direction:<\/strong> Ukrainian defenders repelled seven enemy attacks near Oleksandrohrad, Zelenyi Hai, Vilne Pole, Novokhatske, and Zelenyi Pole. One more clash is still ongoing.<\/p>\n

Hulyaipole direction:<\/strong> No clashes have been recorded since the beginning of the day. However, the settlement of Bilohirya came under attack by unguided aerial missiles.<\/p>\n

Orikhiv direction:<\/strong> Ukrainian defenders repelled two enemy assaults near the settlement of Plavni.<\/p>\n

Dnipro (Dnipro) direction:<\/strong> Ukrainian troops successfully repelled six attacks by Russian forces.<\/p>\n
