The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has redistributed the budget, adding over 2 billion hryvnias for road development.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> People’s Deputy from the “European Solidarity” Oleksiy Honcharenko.<\/p>\n

“The government adopted a resolution increasing funding for road infrastructure in 2025 by over 2.2 billion hryvnias,” the People’s Deputy reported.<\/p>\n

The increase in the budget for road development was due to:<\/p>\n

reducing public debt servicing costs;<\/p>\n

reducing current road maintenance costs.<\/p>\n\t

The People’s Deputy expressed surprise that in wartime the government believes that financing roads is a priority item of expenditure, rather than payments and support for the military.<\/p>\n

Previously, deputies from the European Solidarity faction initiated changes to the State Budget to transfer funds from non-targeted programs to the needs of the Defense Forces<\/a> .<\/p>\n

It is worth noting that the Verkhovna Rada adopted in the first reading important changes to the state budget for 2025, aimed at strengthening funding for the security and defense sector<\/a> .<\/p>\n
