These women will be assigned the rank of &#8220;reserve soldier (sailor)&#8221; by default.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/tmelnychuk\/6345\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">was announced by<\/a> the representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"45\" data-end=\"243\">It is reported that on July 30, the Government of Ukraine approved an updated procedure for maintaining military records, which will affect women with specialized education in medicine and pharmacy.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"245\" data-end=\"540\">According to the new rules, women with the relevant education will be automatically registered for military service. They will not be required to appear in person at territorial recruitment centers (TRCs) \u2014 the data will be entered into the system automatically through educational institutions.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"542\" data-end=\"562\">Key changes include:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"564\" data-end=\"1042\">\n<li data-start=\"564\" data-end=\"655\">\n<p data-start=\"566\" data-end=\"655\">Female doctors and pharmacists aged 25 and older will be registered for military service.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"657\" data-end=\"720\">\n<p data-start=\"659\" data-end=\"720\">They will be assigned the rank of &#8220;reserve soldier (sailor)&#8221;;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"722\" data-end=\"890\">\n<p data-start=\"724\" data-end=\"890\">This registration will occur without a summons to the conscription and enlistment offices, based on information from the Unified State Registration System (&#8220;Oberig&#8221;);<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"892\" data-end=\"1042\">\n<p data-start=\"894\" data-end=\"1042\">The procedures for educational institutions and territorial recruitment centers have been clarified and improved to ensure transparency and control.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1044\" data-end=\"1292\">Thus, medical professionals without prior military service but holding relevant diplomas will now be automatically incorporated into the state&#8217;s defense training system, without submitting an application or visiting the military enlistment office.<\/p>\n<p>This decision is part of a comprehensive reform of military registration, aimed at digitalizing procedures, simplifying data collection, and adapting to modern challenges, particularly the training of a medical reserve amid a prolonged conflict.<\/p>\n<p>Recall that in February, a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence, People&#8217;s Deputy Fedir Venislavskyi, stated that <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/mobilizatsiia-zhinok-v-ukraini-venislavskyy-vidpoviv-chy-stoit-pytannia-na-poriadku-dennomu\/\">in Ukraine, there is no issue of forced mobilization of women<\/a>. Women can be mobilized only with their voluntary consent.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, women who had completed basic military service <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/zhinok-v-ukraini-stavytymut-na-viyskovyy-oblik-detali-zakonoproiektu\/\">were proposed to be registered for military service<\/a>.
