The updated program includes practical skills in countering drones, surviving in trench warfare, and operating military vehicles.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/GeneralStaffZSU\/27230\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">was announced by<\/a> the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"301\">The Armed Forces of Ukraine have updated the <strong data-start=\"45\" data-end=\"88\">Basic Combined Military Training (BCMT)<\/strong> program, extending its duration to <strong data-start=\"124\" data-end=\"135\">51 days<\/strong>. The decision was made following a strategic meeting chaired by <strong data-start=\"200\" data-end=\"248\">Commander-in-Chief General Oleksandr Syrskyi<\/strong>, focused on enhancing the quality of troop training.<\/p>\n<blockquote data-start=\"303\" data-end=\"395\">\n<p data-start=\"305\" data-end=\"395\">\u201cThe quality of training is the foundation of our forces\u2019 resilience,\u201d Syrskyi emphasized.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h3 data-start=\"397\" data-end=\"433\">Key changes to the BCMT program:<\/h3>\n<ul data-start=\"435\" data-end=\"670\">\n<li data-start=\"435\" data-end=\"495\">\n<p data-start=\"437\" data-end=\"495\">Introduction of modules on <strong data-start=\"464\" data-end=\"492\">countering strike drones<\/strong>;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"496\" data-end=\"547\">\n<p data-start=\"498\" data-end=\"547\">Expanded <strong data-start=\"507\" data-end=\"544\">firearms and engineering training<\/strong>;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"548\" data-end=\"597\">\n<p data-start=\"550\" data-end=\"597\">A new <strong data-start=\"556\" data-end=\"594\">survival course for trench warfare<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"598\" data-end=\"670\">\n<p data-start=\"600\" data-end=\"670\">Increased focus on <strong data-start=\"619\" data-end=\"669\">realism and adaptation to frontline conditions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"672\" data-end=\"937\">The <strong data-start=\"676\" data-end=\"711\">adaptation process for soldiers<\/strong> transitioning from training centers to combat units has also been revised. Syrskyi stressed that the Ukrainian army must remain flexible in the face of evolving threats and be capable of rapidly integrating new training methods.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"939\" data-end=\"1222\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Additionally, <strong data-start=\"953\" data-end=\"993\">safety protocols in training centers<\/strong> have been reinforced. In response to aerial threats, more training is now conducted <strong data-start=\"1078\" data-end=\"1093\">underground<\/strong>. The Commander-in-Chief highlighted the importance of immediate action in response to air raid alerts and enemy drone sightings.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"389\">In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are launching an <strong data-start=\"58\" data-end=\"88\">Instructor Training School<\/strong>, established with the support of the <strong data-start=\"126\" data-end=\"155\">\u201cReturn Alive\u201d Foundation<\/strong>. This partnership has already resulted in the creation of <strong data-start=\"214\" data-end=\"243\">three specialized schools<\/strong> focused on training <strong data-start=\"264\" data-end=\"281\">UAV operators<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"283\" data-end=\"343\">radiation, nuclear, and chemical (RNC) defense personnel<\/strong>, and <strong data-start=\"349\" data-end=\"388\">electronic warfare (EW) specialists<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<blockquote data-start=\"391\" data-end=\"515\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">\n<p data-start=\"393\" data-end=\"515\" data-is-last-node=\"\">\u201cThe main thing is people. The better the preparation, the higher the chances of survival and victory,\u201d Syrskyi concluded.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>It was previously reported that the<a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/v-ukraini-zaprovadiat-novi-standarty-viyskovoi-pidhotovky-shcho-zminytsia\/\">\u00a0Armed Forces of Ukraine are updating the format of basic general military training<\/a> &#8211; its duration will be increased to 51 days.
