Ukraine, for its part, proposed five steps for the OSCE to emerge from the crisis caused by the blockade by Russia.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> This is reported by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurointegration.com.ua\/news\/2025\/07\/31\/7217020\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;European Truth&#8221;<\/a> .<\/p>\n<p> Valtonen called supporting Ukraine and holding Russia accountable for war crimes, including the abduction of Ukrainian children, a top priority. She stressed that all crimes must be thoroughly documented and those responsible brought to justice.<\/p>\n<p> She also noted that the OSCE needs to become more resilient and able to make decisions in a timely manner, as the organization has been operating without an approved budget since 2021. According to Valtonen, &#8220;past achievements do not guarantee that all this will work in the future,&#8221; so it is time to start reforms.<\/p>\n<p> Separately, the OSCE head announced the creation of the Helsinki 50 Fund.
