President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had his first conversation with the new President of Poland, Karol Nawrotski.<\/strong><\/p>\n

He reported<\/a> this on his Telegram channel.<\/p>\n

“Congratulations on the victory in the June 1 elections and wished you success. We expect that Poland will continue to remain our reliable partner and ally,” Zelenskyy noted.<\/p>\n

He added that Ukraine appreciates the support from Poland, which has been coming from the very beginning of the full-scale war.<\/p>\n

“We agreed on an exchange of visits, during which we will discuss all relevant issues of bilateral cooperation. We will definitely determine formats of interaction that will yield real results for our countries and our people,” Zelenskyy emphasized.<\/p>\n

Karol Navrotsky’s spokesman Rafal Leshkevych reported that the conversation took place at Zelensky’s initiative.<\/p>\n

“Karol Nawrocki emphasized that cooperation between the two countries should be based on mutual respect and sincere partnership… Russia is a neo-imperial, colonial state led by the war criminal Vladimir Putin. Therefore, Ukraine, which is fighting against the Kremlin regime, can count on Poland’s support,” his statement said.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, on June 1, the second round of the presidential election in Poland ended, bringing a sensational result. Karol Nawrocki was the winner, winning 50.89% of the vote<\/a> .<\/p>\n

It is worth noting that the newly elected president of Poland has spoken out against Ukraine’s “rapid accession” to the EU<\/a> .<\/p>\n
