The head of the Center for Countering Disinformation (CDC), Andriy Kovalenko, stated that Russia will be able to continue its intensive war against Ukraine for only 6\u20138 months if it loses the support of its key partners – China and North Korea.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is reported by Channel 24<\/a> .<\/p>\n

The CPD warns that Russia’s military machine is heavily dependent on external support. China buys Russian energy resources and provides economic assistance, while North Korea supplies ammunition and manpower. Without these resources, Moscow’s ability to conduct intensive combat operations will plummet.<\/p>\n

Despite the Russian government’s claims that sanctions “do not harm” the economy, the situation in the country is critical. The Kremlin is ready to impoverish the population in order to continue the war.<\/p>\n

Purchases of Russian oil and gas and other forms of support from China have so far allowed Russia to maintain its economy. At the same time, Beijing is unlikely to take economic risks for Moscow, especially against the backdrop of threats of new tariffs from the United States.<\/p>\n

At the same time, North Korea is helping with ammunition and mercenaries, but this help is not free and requires resources from Russia.<\/p>\n

Thus, according to the CPD forecasts, without the support of these allies, Russia can conduct intensive hostilities for no more than 6\u20138 months.<\/p>\n

Andriy Kovalenko stressed that future US sanctions, including the possible introduction of tariffs on countries that trade with Russia, could force China to reduce cooperation with Moscow. This would be a critical blow to the Kremlin.<\/p>\n

Earlier,US President Donald Trump said that Russia has 10 days to reach an agreement on the war in Ukraine<\/a> . If it refuses, Washington will introduce new economic restrictions, including tariffs. Later, the Kremlin said that it takes into account US President Trump’s statements, but is not afraid of threats, because Russia has “immunity” against sanctions.<\/a><\/p>\n
