It is an infectious disease that affects the skin, joints and nervous system.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> The musician announced this on his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DMx2h6Sgojo\/?img_index=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Instagram<\/a> on July 31, immediately after the completion of the two-year Forget Tomorrow tour.<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;I&#8217;ve been battling some health issues and was diagnosed with Lyme disease &#8211; I&#8217;m not sharing this to make you feel sorry for me, but to shed some light on what I was going through behind the scenes,&#8221; Timberlake wrote.<\/p>\n<p> The singer notes that he was shocked by the diagnosis, but \u201cat least I understood why I experienced severe nervous pain or just insane fatigue or nausea on stage.\u201d<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;I had a choice: stop touring or continue and figure things out. I decided that the joy that performing brings me far outweighs the temporary stress it puts on my body.
