President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine once again confirms its readiness to hold a meeting with the Russian Federation at the leadership level.<\/strong><\/p>\n

He wrote<\/span><\/a> about this<\/span> on social media.<\/span><\/p>\n

“We are hearing statements from Russia, and if this is a signal of their serious readiness to end the war with dignity and establish a truly lasting peace, and not just an attempt to buy more time for the war and postpone sanctions, then Ukraine once again confirms its readiness to meet at the leadership level at any time,” the message says.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the same time, the president proposed moving from statements and meetings at the technical level to the level of leaders’ conversations, adding that this proposal had already been made by the United States, and Ukraine supported it.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe understand who makes decisions in Russia and who should end this war. The whole world understands this too,\u201d Zelenskyy noted.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a reminder, the Kremlin stated that a meeting between Volodymyr Zelensky and Vladimir Putin is unlikely<\/a> in the coming month.<\/p>\n

At the same time, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said that Ukraine and Russia have reached an agreement in principle<\/a> on the need to hold a meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.<\/p>\n

Earlier, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin declared his readiness for negotiations with Volodymyr Zelensky<\/a> , but refuses to recognize the current President of Ukraine as legitimate for signing any agreements.<\/p>\n
