The authorities continue to delay the appointment of the head of the Bureau of Economic Security, and the government is making incomprehensible demands on Oleksandr Tsyvinsky, who won the competition for this position, which further irritates Western allies and may slow down assistance to Ukraine.<\/strong><\/p>\n

“Some incomprehensible nonsense is going on, excuse my language. If you think that candidates for such a high position, and the head of BEB is a high and extremely responsible position, must pass a polygraph, then they must pass it at the stage before determining the winner. Let them pass the polygraph then. But there is a competition here, there is a winner. Several times now, not only our deputies, not only society, but also our Western partners have been hinting: where is the purpose of the person you chose in an open competition?” – Petrov noted.<\/p>\n
