US President Donald Trump has ordered the relocation of US nuclear submarines closer to Russian territory.<\/strong><\/p>\n

He said<\/span><\/a> this<\/span> in an interview with Newsmax.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWell, the former president of Russia, who now heads one of the most important councils, Medvedev, said some very bad things about nuclear weapons. And when you mention the word \u2018nuclear,\u2019 you know, my eyes light up, and I say, \u2018We better be careful,\u2019 because that\u2019s the ultimate threat,\u201d the US president noted.<\/span><\/p>\n

Trump stressed that Medvedev should not have said that, adding that he has a \u201csharp tongue.\u201d However, the American president recalled that Medvedev has resorted to similar things before.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s why I sent two nuclear submarines to the region. I just want to make sure that his words are just words and nothing more,\u201d he assured.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the same time, Trump confirmed that the current location of the submarines is closer to Russian territory.<\/span><\/p>\n
