On July 31, a humanitarian aid warehouse belonging to the Lithuanian NGO \u201cBlue\/Yellow\u201d was completely destroyed in Kyiv as a result of a Russian combined attack.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is noted that the warehouse was one of several temporary facilities where the organization stored aid before sending it to the front. In particular, at the time of the Russian drone strike, only personal protective equipment for workers and medics was stored there. Thus, the organization did not suffer serious losses.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cNo one in Ukraine is immune from such attacks. This is the everyday reality of war. The most important thing is that no people were hurt. The Foundation did not suffer serious losses, so our work does not stop \u2013 we will continue to collect funds and send them to the defenders of Ukraine,\u201d emphasized Laura Pauk\u0161te, director of Blue\/Yellow.<\/span><\/p>\n

Representatives of the organization noted that such attacks remind us of the conditions in which Ukrainians struggle, as well as how important the country’s support is.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cUnfortunately, this happens. Although the losses are relatively small (we had a little foreboding that this could happen and acted accordingly), this is another grim reminder of what is happening in Ukraine,\u201d added one of the founders, Jonas Oman.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a reminder, on the night of Thursday, July 31, Russian forces carried out a combined attack on Kyiv, using missiles and drones. The strike resulted in significant destruction in several areas of the capital, with fatalities and dozens of injuries.<\/a><\/p>\n

It later became known that the number of people killed in Kyiv as a result of the combined Russian attack on July 31 had increased to 31 people<\/a> , with 156 injured.<\/p>\n

By the way, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation Mikhail Fedorov said that the Russians are already modernizing their “shaheeds” so that they can more effectively avoid Ukrainian interceptor drones. He noted that the Russian military is already preparing to massively use jet drones, and is also implementing technologies that allow them to bypass Ukrainian interceptor drones.<\/a><\/p>\n

In addition, a specialist in the field of electronic warfare and radio-electronic intelligence Sergey \u201cFlash\u201d Beskrestnov noted that Ukrainians began to hear a new eerie sound in the night sky \u2014 we are talking about jet versions of Shahed kamikaze drones, which Russia began to use in recent days.<\/a> This was the enemy\u2019s response to the successes of Ukrainian anti-aircraft drones. So far, the attacks are not massive, but the emergence of a new type of drone may change the nature of threats from the air in the coming months.<\/p>\n
