On the night of August 5, the city of Lozova, Kharkiv region, was subjected to the most powerful attack by Russian troops during the entire period of the full-scale war. As a result of enemy shelling, the city’s critical infrastructure, residential buildings, and private homes were seriously damaged. One person was also reported dead and four were injured.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> the mayor of Lozova, Serhiy Zelensky. According to him, ten people were injured, including two children. Rescue services, doctors and emergency crews are working at the scene, eliminating the consequences of the attack.<\/p>\n

“Life support facilities have been damaged, there are problems with water supply and electricity. Part of the city has been left without electricity, in particular the Avylivka district and the Katerynivskyi district. People are asked to report any destruction. The railway station has been temporarily suspended, and transport routes have been changed,” Zelenskyy noted.<\/p>\n

According to the confirmation of JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia”, the attack damaged a railway junction. One worker was killed, four others were injured. Due to damage to the infrastructure, passenger train routes were changed – in particular, the Uman – Cherkasy – Kharkiv train is moving in a detour, which causes delays. For passengers arriving or departing from Lozova, buses have been organized to Panyutyne station.<\/p>\n

The State Emergency Service reports several fires caused by kamikaze drone strikes. Rescuers confirmed the death of a man and 10 other people were injured.<\/p>\n

“This night, the Russians terrorized the civilian population. People were sleeping, and they were hit with blows. The aggressor will definitely be held responsible for such actions,” the mayor emphasized.<\/p>\n
