In Cherkassy this morning, a man threatened to detonate several grenades under a bridge on Khimikov Avenue after representatives of the district territorial recruitment and social support center tried to check his documents.<\/strong><\/p>\n

As the police reported, negotiations with the offender at the scene of the incident continued at around 09:50; the law enforcement officers who arrived cordoned off the area of the incident and urged citizens not to approach the danger zone.<\/p>\n

According to eyewitnesses, the man also had a pistol, and during the conflict he pulled the pin from a grenade and threatened to blow himself up along with the TCC soldiers, trying to take them hostage.<\/p>\n

As of 10:20, the offender was detained without casualties or explosions, Public correspondents reported from the scene of the incident; investigative actions are ongoing.<\/p>\n

Earlier, on July 12, in the village of Dubovo, Kovel district, Volyn region , during the inspection of military registration documents, an unknown person attacked a serviceman of the center.<\/a><\/p>\n

Let us recall that on July 5, in the Rivne region , a conflict arose between TCC servicemen and a group of people<\/a> , during which a soldier was hit on the head.<\/p>\n
