On the evening of August 4, a tragic event occurred in the village of Nemyr, in the Lutsk district of the Volyn region – an 11-year-old boy, while driving a car, fatally injured his two-year-old sister.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> the press service of the Volyn police.<\/p>\n

According to preliminary data, the child took advantage of the absence of adults and independently got behind the wheel of an Audi car. While leaving the garage, the boy accidentally hit his younger sister. As a result of the injuries received, the girl died on the spot.<\/p>\n

In addition, the vehicle hit another minor, a 7-year-old brother. His injuries were minor and he did not require hospitalization.<\/p>\n

Investigators and juvenile prevention specialists arrived at the scene of the tragedy. A pre-trial investigation has been launched in accordance with Part 2 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of road safety rules, which caused the death of the victim). Law enforcement officers are clarifying all the details of the incident.<\/p>\n

We remind you that a large-scale road accident occurred in the village of Rudno near Lviv: a 21-year-old BMW driver drove into the oncoming lane and collided with a Renault Trafic minibus<\/a> . Seven people were injured in the accident, including the perpetrator himself. The BMW driver was detained, and criminal proceedings have been initiated.<\/p>\n

As reported, on July 12, a tragic accident in Vinnytsia region claimed the lives of two passengers, including a baby.<\/a> The driver lost control – investigators are investigating the circumstances of the accident, which occurred between Kyslytskyi and Vapnyarka.<\/p>\n
