Over the past 24 hours, 143 combat clashes have occurred on the Russian-Ukrainian front. The hottest situation remains in the Pokrov direction.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 08:00 on August 6.<\/p>\n

Yesterday, the enemy launched two missile and 107 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, used two missiles and 147 guided bombs. In addition, it carried out 5,731 attacks, 64 of which were from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 4,224 kamikaze drones to destroy them.<\/p>\n

The aggressor carried out airstrikes, in particular, on the areas of the settlements of Khliborob in the Sumy region; Olhivka, Kozatske, Dar’ivka in the Kherson region.<\/p>\n

Yesterday, the Defense Forces’ aviation, missile troops, and artillery struck two artillery pieces, eight areas of concentration of personnel, weapons, and military equipment, and four enemy command posts.<\/p>\n

In the North-Slobozhansk<\/strong> and Kursk<\/strong> directions, Ukrainian defenders repelled 13 Russian attacks. The enemy launched 18 air strikes, dropped a total of 35 guided bombs, and carried out 353 artillery attacks, including 16 from multiple rocket launchers.<\/p>\n

Over the past day, five clashes took place in the South Slobozhansk<\/strong> direction in the areas of Vovchansk and Figolivka.<\/p>\n

Seven attacks by the invaders were recorded in the Kupyansk<\/strong> direction. The defense forces repelled the enemy’s assault actions in the areas of the settlements of Radkivka, Holubivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Nova Kruglyakivka, Zagryzove and in the direction of Novoplatonivka.<\/p>\n

In the Lymansky<\/strong> direction, the enemy attacked 23 times, trying to advance near the settlements of Olhivka, Novyi Mir, Hlushchenkove, Torske, Serebryanka, Hryhorivka, Kolodyazi and towards Cherneschyna, Seredny, and Shandryholovye.<\/p>\n

In the Siversk<\/strong> direction, the aggressor attacked near Hryhorivka and in the direction of Siversk. In total, three clashes took place over the past day.<\/p>\n

In the Kramatorsk<\/strong> direction, the Defense Forces repelled two enemy attacks near Chasovy Yar.<\/p>\n

In the Toretsk<\/strong> direction, the enemy carried out eight attacks in the areas of Toretsk, Diliivka, and Shcherbinivka.<\/p>\n

In the Pokrovsk<\/strong> direction, our defenders stopped 52 attacks by the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Pokrovsk, Popiv Yar, Volodymyrivka, Boykivka, Suvorov, Kotlyne, Novoekonomichne, Muravka, Myrolyubivka, Mykolaivka, Rodynske, Sukhetske, Dachne, Promin, Molodetske, Lysivka, Zvirovke, Udachne, Novoukrainka, Oleksiivka and in the direction of Novopavlivka.<\/p>\n

In the Novopavlivka<\/strong> direction, the Defense Forces repelled 16 enemy assaults in the areas of the settlements of Piddubne, Voskresenka, Shevchenko, Zeleny Gay, Zelenye Pole, Novodarivka and in the direction of Ivanivka, Novoivanivka.<\/p>\n

In the Hulyaipil<\/strong> direction, the enemy launched an unsuccessful attack in the Temyrivka area.<\/p>\n

In the Orikhiv<\/strong> direction, the aggressor twice attacked the positions of our defenders in the Stepovoye and Plavni areas.<\/p>\n

Last day, in the Dnieper<\/strong> direction, the enemy once unsuccessfully tried to approach the fortifications of our defenders, suffering losses.<\/p>\n

No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn<\/strong> and Polissya<\/strong> directions.<\/p>\n
