China believes that the process of resolving Russia’s war against Ukraine has reached a critical point.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was stated by<\/a> Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.<\/p>\n

The Chinese Foreign Minister held a telephone conversation with Celso Amorim, Special Assistant to the President of Brazil for International Affairs. During the conversation, the parties exchanged views on the “Ukrainian crisis.”<\/p>\n

“Russia and Ukraine have already started negotiations, taking an important step forward. The current crisis resolution process has reached a critical moment,” the Chinese Foreign Ministry said in a statement.<\/p>\n

China and Brazil also confirmed that they are ready to promote a ceasefire and peace talks for a “political settlement of the Ukrainian crisis.”<\/p>\n
