This will simplify the procedure for applying for a deferment for students and significantly reduce the bureaucratic burden.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense.

New functionality in the state application “Reserve+” allows Ukrainians to quickly and conveniently apply for a deferment from conscription for training. This was made possible thanks to interagency cooperation between the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Education and Science, as well as with the support of international organizations.

The service is aimed at students studying at higher and pre-higher education institutions. To apply for a deferment, it is enough to confirm your status in the Unified State Electronic Database on Education (UEDB). If there are inaccuracies in the database, users can clarify them independently.

Digital deferral has become another stage in the process of digitalizing the mobilization accounting system in Ukraine. Currently, about 40% of all deferrals are issued through “Reserve+”, which indicates the effectiveness and demand for the service among citizens.

In addition to deferrals for education, starting this week, “Reserve+” also offers deferrals for spouses of people with disabilities of groups I or II. This is another step towards humanizing and personalizing the approach to mobilization.

The launch of the new functionality was implemented with the participation of the following partners: the Academy of e-Government (Estonia) within the framework of the EU-funded DT4UA project, the World Bank within the framework of the UIHERP project (Improving Higher Education in Ukraine for Results), the German Federal Ministry of Defense, the Office for Effective Regulation BRDO.

The digitalization of such important services not only facilitates access to public services, but also makes the mobilization process more transparent, flexible, and adapted to the real life situations of citizens.

By the way, from August 5, 2025 , the Reserve+ mobile application will allow spouses in which one of the partners has a disability of group I or II to apply for a deferment from mobilization . This new option became available as part of an update to the service, which already provides 40% of all requests for deferment in Ukraine.

As you know, since the fall of 2024, the Reserve+ application has had the ability to apply for an electronic deferment from mobilization — though not yet for all categories. Other conscripts must contact territorial recruitment centers (TCK) and apply for a deferment there.

It was previously reported that in early August, the Reserve + mobile application will allow conscripts to pay a fine for failing to appear for military service. Recall that earlier, the Reserve + application introduced the ability to pay a fine online for failing to update personal data by July 16, 2024.

Also follow “Pryamim” on Facebook , Twitter , Telegram , and Instagram.

A new digital service has been officially launched in Ukraine in the “Reserve+” application, which allows you to apply for a deferment from mobilization for education.
