This initiative marks a significant step in deepening transport, economic, and defense cooperation between the two countries.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is reported by <a href=\"https:\/\/suspilne.media\/1085661-ukraina-ta-rumunia-zapuskaut-testove-zaliznicne-spolucenna-kiiv-buharest\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;Social&#8221;<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"234\">Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sybiga, following talks with Romanian Foreign Minister Oana-Silvia Tsoi, announced the launch of a test railway route between Kyiv and Bucharest, passing through Moldovan territory.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"236\" data-end=\"530\">Two special carriages have departed Kyiv for Bucharest via Chisinau. After arriving in the Romanian capital, they are scheduled to return to Kyiv the following day. This marks the first step toward establishing a regular service aimed at strengthening transport links between the two countries.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"90\">During the meeting of the foreign ministers, key areas of cooperation were also discussed:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"92\" data-end=\"238\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">\n<li data-start=\"92\" data-end=\"160\">\n<p data-start=\"94\" data-end=\"160\">Attracting Romanian investments into Ukraine\u2019s defense industry.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"161\" data-end=\"202\">\n<p data-start=\"163\" data-end=\"202\">Implementing joint economic projects.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"203\" data-end=\"238\" data-is-last-node=\"\">\n<p data-start=\"205\" data-end=\"238\" data-is-last-node=\"\">Developing border infrastructure.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"273\">The parties paid special attention to plans to open a new checkpoint, Bila Tserkva \u2013 Sighetu Marma\u021biei. This will become possible after the completion of the bridge across the Tisza River, which is expected to serve as another key transport hub between Ukraine and Romania.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"275\" data-end=\"536\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Additionally, they discussed the idea of creating a large-scale transport corridor from Greece to Odessa, passing through Bulgaria and Romania.
