According to the Estonian side, Russia’s initiative for bilateral talks is an attempt to take advantage of the US desire for a diplomatic resolution to the conflict. Such actions by the Kremlin are seen as a maneuver to gain time, especially against the backdrop of another wave of Trump’s dissatisfaction with Russia’s policies.<\/p>\n

The situation at the front confirms these conclusions. In June, the Russians used 5,500 Geranium and Gerbera drones, and in July this figure rose to 6,200. The Estonian Defense Forces assume that this campaign is aimed at overloading the Ukrainian air defense system.<\/p>\n
