National Guard spokesman Ruslan Muzychuk said that since the beginning of 2025, the number of drones of various types in the Defense Forces has doubled.<\/strong><\/p>\n

He spoke about this on the air of the telethon.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThis includes both FPV drones and Mavic and drones with combat payloads. We have significantly strengthened this component,\u201d the spokesperson explained.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to him, the enemy is also increasing the number of UAVs, in particular, fiber-optic drones are being massively recorded in the Kharkiv region, as well as in the Donetsk region – near Chasovy Yar, in the Torets and Pokrov directions.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the same time, Muzychuk assured that the number of FPV drones at the front has doubled, and in some places tripled.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cDrones are now used not so much to destroy armored vehicles or other equipment, but to create so-called kill zones \u2014 areas where the enemy cannot advance to our positions or control points to gain a foothold or accumulate forces,\u201d he said.<\/span><\/p>\n

Recall that in July, drones hit more than 23 thousand Russian targets<\/a> . The lion’s share of hits was carried out using FPV drones and night bombers.<\/p>\n
