The US has approved VIZZ eye drops, which can restore vision and allow you to avoid wearing glasses for up to 10 hours.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported<\/a> in Nature.<\/p>\n

The active ingredient of the drug is aceclidine, it constricts the pupil of the eye, increasing the depth of field, which helps to see small objects at close range without using glasses.<\/p>\n

The effect after applying the drops occurs approximately 30 minutes and lasts up to ten hours.<\/p>\n

The approval is based on the results of three phase II clinical trials that included hundreds of patients.<\/p>\n

It is noted that no serious side effects have been recorded, but scientific publications with details of the studies have not yet appeared.<\/p>\n

The drug is expected to be available in US pharmacies this year. There is no word on whether it will be available in other countries.<\/p>\n
