US President Donald Trump may recognize Russian control over part of the Ukrainian regions that are currently under occupation.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin’s terms are likely to include formal recognition of Russian control over some of the captured territories in exchange for a withdrawal of troops from other regions, European and Ukrainian officials said. Trump, who is eager to make deals, may in turn accept the Kremlin leader’s offer.<\/span><\/p>\n

However, it is noted that Ukraine and most European allies are unlikely to accept such conditions.<\/span><\/p>\n

Then the American president could accuse Kyiv of wanting to continue fighting. As a result, Trump would likely cut military aid to Ukraine, including intelligence. Ultimately, the US could withdraw from the diplomatic process altogether.<\/span><\/p>\n
