The Council of the European Union has approved the disbursement of an additional \u20ac3 billion tranche to Ukraine under the Ukraine Facility.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was announced by<\/a> Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko.<\/p>\n

She noted that the EU Council\u2019s decision to provide Ukraine with \u20ac3.056 billion under the Ukraine Facility sends a powerful signal of confidence in the reform process and Ukraine\u2019s ability to maintain stability during wartime.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are grateful to the Danish presidency for its clear support. Each such decision brings us closer to a strong Ukraine within a united Europe,\u201d Svyrydenko wrote.<\/p>\n

It is worth noting that the Ukraine Facility program from the European Union foresees providing \u20ac50 billion to Ukraine by 2027, with \u20ac39 billion allocated to the state budget to strengthen financial stability.<\/p>\n

It is worth noting that the new tranche of financial assistance under the Ukraine Facility program is being allocated in a smaller amount than planned due to the failure to implement 3 of the 16 reforms promised by the EU.<\/a> Initially, it was planned to allocate 1.5 billion euros more.<\/p>\n

As reported, the IMF recommended that Ukraine increase taxes from 2026 to increase budget revenues<\/a>.<\/p>\n
