Yet, a wave of almost fanatical enthusiasm has swept through the Russian media and shows no signs of fading.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"59\" data-end=\"236\">They found a restaurant, discovered that enormous cheburek, interviewed the chef, reprinted the recipe, and now everyone will be eating \u201cthe same cheburek as Witkoff\u201d on camera.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"238\" data-end=\"632\">I just hope it\u2019s not <em data-start=\"269\" data-end=\"279\">the same<\/em> cheburek that Witkoff himself couldn\u2019t finish. Although the Russians might say, \u201cAnd it smells so bad! All in true Russian tradition&#8230; Witkoff flew away, but the trail remains! And that trail will linger in our studio from, uh, cheburek.\u201d This last comment makes one suspect it <em data-start=\"566\" data-end=\"570\">is<\/em> the same cheburek\u2014and it\u2019s already starting to stink badly&#8230;<\/p>\n\t\t<aside class=\"shortcode-also\" data-title=\"Read also\" >\n\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/en\/putin-and-witkoffs-talks-is-the-us-ready-for-tough-sanctions\/\">Putin and Witkoff&#8217;s talks: is the US ready for tough sanctions?<\/a>\n\t<\/aside>\n\n<p data-start=\"69\" data-end=\"226\">By the way, the phrase \u201ctraditional Russian cheburek\u201d is an even bigger oxymoron than \u201ctraditional Russian matryoshka,\u201d \u201cpelmeni,\u201d \u201cbalalaika,\u201d or \u201csamovar.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"228\" data-end=\"564\">Typically, their reaction boils down to: \u201cThe white massa came, and he was so kind he ate our food!\u201d This happened before with Kanye West and many others. Somehow, it doesn\u2019t quite fit with the image of \u201cgreat and highly spiritual Russian culture\u201d \u2014 ballet, literature, and all that \u2014 but it doesn\u2019t cause them any cognitive dissonance.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"566\" data-end=\"868\">Incidentally, at the \u201crestaurant,\u201d this \u201cLe grand cheburek\u201d was served to Witkoff with gloves, so he wouldn\u2019t get his hands messy if he ate it by hand. Russian propagandists write that the meeting was also attended by the dictator&#8217;s assistant, Yuri Ushakov, who is known to be a member of the negotiating team between Russia and the United States.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>It is noted that the conversation lasted almost three hours. Ushakov called the talks<a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/konstruktyvnyy-dialoh-u-kremli-rozpovily-pro-perehovory-putina-i-vitkoffa\/\">\u201cuseful and constructive\u201d<\/a>. According to him, Russia sent a signal to the Americans on the Ukrainian issue and received corresponding signals from the United States.
