Today, August 9, a meeting of national security advisers from Ukraine, the United States, and European states will take place in the United Kingdom.<\/strong><\/p>\n

During the summit, officials are expected to discuss progress in securing a just and lasting peace.<\/span><\/p>\n

The meeting will be hosted by British Foreign Secretary David Lemmy and US Vice President J.D. Vance.<\/span><\/p>\n

As Axios notes<\/a> , during the summit, national security advisers will try to reach common positions before the planned meeting between Putin and Trump.<\/p>\n
