Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has no intention of withdrawing his troops from the territory of the Kherson and Zaporizhia regions, which are currently under Russian control.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is noted that the US accepted Putin’s proposal to stop shelling the Kherson and Zaporizhia regions in exchange for Ukrainian territories in the East as the withdrawal of the Russian army from these regions.<\/span><\/p>\n

However, the Russian Federation does not plan to transfer control over the Left Bank of the Kherson region and part of Zaporizhia, because there the Russians have secured a land corridor to the occupied Crimea.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to one of the pro-Kremlin analysts, Sergei Markov, the only compromise that Russia will agree to is to abandon the military campaign to capture the Kharkiv and Odessa regions, as well as the cities of Kherson and Zaporizhia.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cRussian troops are not going to take a single step back,\u201d he added.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the same time, it is not yet clear whether the Russian plan includes guarantees that the Kremlin will not resume hostilities at any time.<\/span><\/p>\n
