President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the preparation of new joint steps with Sweden in the development of combat aviation.<\/strong><\/p>\n

He said<\/span><\/a> this<\/span> in an evening video address.<\/span><\/p>\n

In particular, the president informed that he had a conversation with Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson.<\/span> According to him, they discussed cooperation in the development of Ukrainian military aviation. Therefore, the project may seem very strong.<\/span><\/p>\n

“We are preparing new steps with Sweden in the development of our Ukrainian combat aviation. This can be a strong project for decades,” Zelenskyy assured.<\/span><\/p>\n

Also, following the conversation, he noted that the question of which combat platforms the aviation fleet will operate on in the next stages is currently being clarified.<\/span><\/p>\n

“We agreed that our teams – from Ukraine and Sweden – will work on this issue in a meaningful way,” the president emphasized.<\/span><\/p>\n

Recall that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine’s goal is to fully integrate the Air Force with NATO forces<\/a> .<\/p>\n
