Ukraine is closely monitoring the military exercises of Russia and Belarus “West-2025”. So far, no threats to the country have been recorded.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was announced by<\/a> Andriy Kovalenko, head of the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

The head of the Central Military District noted that the situation regarding the joint exercises of Russia and Belarus called “West-2025” is under control.<\/p>\n

“We see how many Russian military personnel are there, we understand everything that is happening. As of today, there are no military threats to Ukraine from there,” Kovalenko said.<\/p>\n

He also added that the Russians will use the topic of military exercises to attack Ukraine and its society with information.<\/p>\n

Earlier, Deputy State Secretary of the Latvian Ministry of Defense Andis Dilans stated that up to 150,000 military personnel will participate in the Russian Zapad exercises, which will take place in Belarus in 2025<\/a> .<\/p>\n

By the way, the first Russian troops have already arrived in Belarus, they will take part in joint exercises, the active phase of which is scheduled for September<\/a> .<\/p>\n
