Russia has been reducing seaborne oil exports for the third week in a row, but the current losses remain insignificant so far.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the period from July 13 to August 10, the average daily export of “black gold” from the Russian Federation amounted to about 3.11 million barrels, which is 3% less than in the previous reporting period – from July 6 to August 3. The largest reduction was noted in deliveries to Asian countries: they fell to 2.73 million barrels per day.<\/p>\n

Separately, it is noted that oil exports to Turkey fell to a three-month low of 280,000 barrels per day. Deliveries to Syria remained stable at about 70,000 barrels per day.<\/p>\n

However, in the week from August 4 to 10 alone, 23.31 million barrels were shipped from Russian ports, which is almost 600,000 more than the week before. However, despite the increase in volumes, export revenue fell by 4% to $1.38 billion, which is due to the fall in Russian oil prices.<\/p>\n

Journalists note that it is too early to talk about the impact of the new tariffs announced by Donald Trump on oil logistics. These tariffs on Indian goods will not come into effect until August 27 and may be changed.<\/p>\n

However, experts do not rule out that Ukrainian drone strikes on Russian refineries could lead to a reorientation of exports and even their short-term growth to compensate for the risks of disruptions in the domestic market.<\/p>\n

Recall that in late 2025 – early 2026, world oil prices may drop significantly<\/a> , then a barrel will cost $40-50, according to a report by the Roscongress Foundation.<\/p>\n

As reported, oil prices fell sharply, approaching their biggest weekly decline since late June<\/a> . Brent lost 51 cents to trade at $65.92 a barrel, WTI lost 57 cents to $63.31.<\/p>\n

By the way, Indian state-owned oil refiners are temporarily halting purchases of Russian oil after increasing economic pressure from the United States.<\/a> The reason was a new wave of tough tariffs imposed by the Donald Trump administration in response to India’s cooperation with Moscow.<\/p>\n
