The Ukrainian Defense Forces are engaged in intense battles in the Dobropillia and Pokrovsk directions, successfully halting the advance of over 110,000 concentrated Russian troops. Despite repeated attempts by Russian sabotage groups to penetrate deep into Ukrainian defenses, the defenders continue to destroy and block enemy forces, achieving significant initial results on the frontline.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by the press service of the General Staff<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The enemy is acting boldly and disregarding significant losses, advancing in sabotage and small infantry groups. In particular, several such units, bypassing the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, attempted to move towards the settlement of Zolotyi Kolodiaz.<\/p>\n

Other groups, taking advantage of the terrain, tried to infiltrate Vesela, Vilna, Rubizhne, and Kucheriv Yar. Some of these units have already been destroyed, while the rest are in the process of being liquidated.<\/p>\n

The situation remains tense and dynamic. To strengthen the defense, additional forces and resources have been allocated by the decision of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. A series of measures has been planned to block enemy groups within the designated area.<\/p>\n

Reserve units have already taken up positions, located the enemy, and inflicted losses. Some of the occupiers have been destroyed, while others have been captured. Ukrainian defenders continue to hold the defensive lines and call on society for maximum support to repel further enemy attacks.<\/p>\n

\nWe would like to remind you that the Ukrainian Defense Forces are restraining the offensive of the Russian occupiers and are taking measures to prevent the enemy from advancing deep into Ukrainian territory. At this time, 91 combat clashes have been recorded. In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy made 25 attempts to press our units.<\/a><\/p>\n

Earlier, the Armed Forces of Ukraine denied information about a breakthrough of Russian troops in the <\/a> Pokrovsk<\/a> direction<\/a>, emphasizing that the situation, although it remains tense, is under control. To support the defense, the 1st Operational Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine \u201cAzov\u201d was deployed here, which has already occupied designated positions and is blocking the enemy\u2019s attempts to advance.<\/p>\n

It is worth adding that the Russian occupation forces have accumulated a large number of personnel between three cities in the Donetsk region<\/a> \u2014 Pokrovsk, Dobropillya, and Kostyantynivka.<\/p>\n
